Global section

In this area you can manage consistent content for multiple portals (e.g., products, press releases, courses,...).To display global content on a portal it is necessary to connect a section (e.g., Products, Press,...) to a start-page of a portal.

E.g.: Your company website is published on multiple portals to provide various markets with local information. The products and specifications are basically the same for all portals (except the difference in language).On certain portals you want to provide a different structure or a different range of products (out of all products your company has to offer). Within the global section you can create different structures out of "All Produtcs" to provide the portals with the right information. If you edit a product the changes are displayed on every portal where is visualized. A major advantage to manage content for multiple portals in one central spot.
